As a responsible raw feed producer, we are registered with and regulated by DEFRA. This means that you have the peace of mind that we adhere to strict government guidelines. All the dog food that we produce is sourced, processed and packaged within a safe, regulated and hygienic environment.
We conduct regular microbiological testing (for Salmonella and Enterobacteriaceae) which is sent to an external lab to be checked to ensure that we maintain the quality and safety of all of our dog food. The results are sent to APHA to be recorded. Legislation also states that all of the raw materials we use for our dog food as a DEFRA registered company must be gland-free, eliminating the potential for dogs that eat our dog food to develop endocrine disorders such as hyperthyroidism. This is another reason that it is important to only buy from a DEFRA Approved company.
